A series of illustrations I made for Alex Mathers' book on Self-Promotion using Google Plus. The overall theme was Social Space, so space exploration elements are there: space crafts, flying cars, HUDs &#38; planets.

1. The cover. It's the spaceman having a Google+ Hangout with his cat and alien friend. I made the steering wheel look like a console controller with the Google+ share buttons.

2. It's the spaceman getting off the ship using the bottom hatch.

3. All the space cars in line.

4. The planets. </description>

Can an Indian curse be removed by a Filipino healer who specializes in asthma? A true tale of the purportedly paranormal

<description>A poster I made for Help Ink - a collaborative project, using the sale of premium and exclusive art to help charities in an exciting way. With each purchase you’ll be doing your part to help charitable organizations and individuals around the world.

The line I used was "A Friendly Look, a Kindly Smile, One Good Act &#38; Life's Worthwhile". I thought it encapsulated what Help Ink is all about. :)

The print is available for purchase here.

<description>This was an illustration I made for a fundraising event by the Make-a-Wish Foundation. We were asked to create illustrations based on the types of wishes the kids ask.

I came up with the Starsurfer. I thought I'd make the star as the kite that pulls the kids' wishes to the sky. Dreams are powerful it can take you anywhere. :)

Cheers to Dreams!

<description>A collaboration work with the editorial team of Rogue Magazine. I made these illustrations for the Style Section of their Art Issue. I incorporated the photographs of the different fashion wear to my illustration.

These are the different fabLE characters wearing their not so usual outfit.

1. Cheshire Cat
2. Pinocchio
3. Gulliver
4. Red &#38; the Wolf (Spread)
5. The raw photos.

This was probably the most challenging editorial illustration I've ever made, only because it was hard to mix the photographs in my illustration. I'm so happy it turned out well!

<description>An illustration for the Desktop Wallpaper Project of The Fox is Black. It's the story of Urashima Taro.

It’s Taro-san meeting the 3 futuristic fishermen. We see the fisherman on their hover dock - it’s like a normal dock with boosters. :) Taro-san got caught by the captain’s fishing line that’s the reason why he surfaced.

You may download the wallpaper here.

The process can be found here.

Background illustrations. The intention was to make the illustrations atmospheric with a certain Western (but not too Western) feel. The central focus in each image are the oil rigs and oil wells.

These were initial works I made as a result of experimenting with monochromatic illustrations.

<description>An illustration I made for a magazine feature. The topic was "Illogical". I decided to go with Time Travel since I find it really impossible for people to travel through the past or future.

I wanted to make an interesting character so I created The Time Travelling Pirate. He travels through time to "steal" important artifacts with the intention of preserving them.

1. The pirate complete with an eyepatch watch and a wooden steering wheel.
2. The typography was inspired by office table calendars.

<description>An editorial illustration I made for GOOD Magazine. GOOD is one of my dream clients together with Monocle &#38; The New Yorker,so when one of their art directors emailed me and asked me if I was willing to do an illustration for them I immediately said yes.

The article was about Misha Glouberman's book "The Chairs are Where the People Go". Since it was a book containing different topics/content I thought why not replace Misha's head with a jar full of knick knacks?

Read the Article Here.

<description>New editorial illustrations I made for Rogue's May Issue.

1. Illustration for the Condom Ban at Barangay Ayala Alabang article. The illustration is a priest breaking the condom instead of the bread.
2. A condom-syringe to show that people within Barangay Ayala Alabang need to get a prescription before they buy a condom. Which is ridiculous by the way.
1. Futurama. The more we are connected, the more we become isolated. A spread that acted as a teaser for the Future-centric articles in the magazine. I was listening to a lot of chiptune when I was doing this, hence, the video game influence.
